It was another busy week at LePhare. A highlight for many was when we gathered as a whole school community for our April Assembly. The theme was responsibility. We had many songs, skits, readings, videos and presentations which demonstrated all the ways that students at LePhare show responsibility: to each other, to their community and to their learning. Thanks to everyone who contributed.

Drop off and Pick up

A reminder that the bus loop is for school buses and student transportation only during the posted times. Thank you to all those who use our roundabout for morning drop offs. We do our best to keep the flow of traffic moving. If you would like to park and escort your child to the yard we kindly request that you use our designated visitor parking areas so that we can keep cars circulating safely.

Sikh Heritage Month

April is Sikh Heritage Month. The word “Sikh” means “to learn,” and key tenets of the Sikh faith include working honestly, sharing with others, and praying for the well-being of all. Happy Sikh Heritage Month to those who celebrate.

Bake Sale

Grade 5 students will be hosting a Bake Sale on Friday, April 25 to raise money to offset costs for their upcoming field trip to the Children’s Festival. 

Students can bring cash on the day of the sale, or should parents wish to purchase vouchers through school cash online, please follow the link.

Talent Show Friday, May 2nd
