This short week was incredibly exciting as students dove into dance workshops with Luv2Groove! Every student had the chance to learn a new dance, practice with their peers, and perform for an audience. Their enthusiasm and bright smiles clearly showed how much they enjoyed the experience!

As we enter June, we want to recognize Pride Month, a time to celebrate and acknowledge the 2SLGBTQI+ community. It's a month dedicated to promoting inclusivity and acceptance for all, and we're committed to fostering an environment where every family feels safe, respected, and celebrated.

Are you going on holiday?

As the school year nears its end and families begin planning summer holidays and adventures, we kindly request that you inform the school office in writing if your child will be leaving school before the final day in June. This will help us ensure accurate attendance records and a smooth transition for your child. Thank you for your cooperation.

Jump Rope for Heart

Jump Rope for Heart takes place next Thursday, June 12 from 11:15 - 1:15.  This wonderful whole school event will involve students forming groups with students from different classes. In order to increase team spirit, your child will be assigned a colour. (this information will be shared by the classroom teacher) Children are encouraged to wear their team colour on Thursday. Celebrate 50 Years of LePhare This September!

LePhare is turning 50 this September! To mark this special occasion, we will be collecting artifacts from the past five decades, including class photos, books, and memorabilia.  More details about our 50th-anniversary celebrations will be announced in September. In the meantime, please help us spread the word to neighbours, family, and friends who are LePhare graduates!
