E-News June 13

This week was packed with student activities! Kindergartners explored the outdoors on a field trip to Macskimming, Grade 5 students met peers from across the district who will be transitioning to Henry Munro, and Grade 1 visited the Science and Tech Museum. Some classes ventured to our local public library and all students participated in Jump Rope for Heart. Amidst these wonderful events, learning continued in classrooms, the gym, and outdoor spaces.

Are you going on holiday?

As the school year nears its end and families begin planning summer holidays and adventures, we kindly request that you inform the school office in writing if your child will be leaving school before the final day in June. This will help us ensure accurate attendance records and a smooth transition for your child. Thank you for your cooperation.

Jump Rope for Heart

Jump Rope for Heart was a huge success. We would like to extend our thanks to those guardians who helped run stations on Thursday to allow for a smooth running of the event.  We also want to thank families who made donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.  Through your generosity, LePhare collectively is donating $2790–so close to our $3000 goal!

Stay tuned to hear which class has won the Bubble Party for raising the most money!

Freezie Friday

There will be another Freezie Friday on Friday, June 20. Students from the sewing club will be selling freezies for $0.50 to help offset costs of materials for their projects.
