E-News October 10, 2025
October 10, 2025
There was certainly a change in the air this week. Friendly reminder to ensure that your student is dressed appropriately for the weather each day. We highly recommend that you write your student’s name in their clothing so that misplaced items can be returned. The lost and found is growing daily. Please encourage your child to check the lost and found for missing items.
Junior Soccer Tournament
Congratulations to the Le Phare Soccer Teams on a successful tournament yesterday!
Your dedication, effort, and sportsmanship were outstanding. The Girls' Team finished in 4th place, and the Boys' Team finished in 3rd place!
A special thank you to Mlle. Smith, Mme. Hayter, and Mme. Woods-Pichette for their hard work and commitment in preparing the students for this fantastic event.
LePhare is Scent Free!
To ensure a safe and healthy learning environment for all students and staff, our school observes a scent-free policy.
We kindly ask that students and family members refrain from wearing or using scented products (such as perfumes, colognes, scented lotions, and heavily fragranced hairsprays) when visiting the school or attending school events. Your cooperation helps protect those in our community with severe allergies and sensitivities.
Thank you for helping us keep our air clean and our classrooms safe!
Indoor Shoes
Please remember the importance of sending your child to school with a clean, separate pair of indoor shoes.
Indoor shoes are essential for several reasons:
- Safety: They provide better grip on smooth classroom and gymnasium floors, helping to prevent slips and falls.
- Cleanliness: They keep the dirt, mud, salt, and water from outdoor footwear out of our classrooms and learning spaces, promoting a healthier environment for everyone.
Please ensure your child's indoor shoes are easy for them to manage (e.g., velcro or slip-on for younger students) and that they are kept in their locker or cubby at school.
Thank you for helping us keep our school safe, clean, and comfortable!
Student Verification Forms
Thank you to those families who have returned the Student Contact Verification forms. Parents are asked to review the information, make changes as they see fit directly on the form and return it SIGNED to the office. If all of the information is correct, simply sign it and return it to the school.
