Students and staff had a busy week this week! Some days we had to keep warm on the play yard, even with March nearly coming to an end. Gentle reminder to ensure that your child is prepared for outdoor learning and play with appropriate clothing for the ever changing conditions!

Decolonizing Autism: A Nehiyaw (Plains Cree) Perspective

We are welcoming Dr. Grant Bruno for a virtual session exploring how to better support Indigenous families with Autistic children by incorporating Indigenous perspectives and knowledge. This session will explore the significance of Indigenous culture and connection in building healthy environments. Attendees will learn practical strategies for integrating holistic models into Western education, informed by Dr. Bruno’s research.

Scientists in the Schools 

This week some of our grade 3 students participated in Scientists in the Schools. Students, staff, and volunteers had such a great time and learned a lot about forces. More classes are scheduled for curricular related scientists in the school workshops in the coming weeks. Many thanks to our School Council for generously donating to these activities.
